As part of a working visit to Austria, Head of State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, Anna Zamazeeva, held talks with representatives of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The parties talked about the restoration and sustainable future of the Ukrainian economy.
During the negotiations, the participants of the meeting outlined joint plans for the continuation and expansion of cooperation. The focus of attention is to stimulate Ukrainian enterprises and communities to become more energy-efficient and low-carbon, as is practiced in the EU.
The Head of the Agency also presented the key tools for supporting the energy-efficient transformation of the country – the created Decarbonization Fund and the future National Decarbonization Platform.
“We are grateful to UNIDO for a reliable and productive partnership that continues to develop. We have a lot of interesting ideas to support the energy-efficient transformation and sustainable development of Ukraine in a synergy of efforts!” – said the SAEE Head Anna Zamazeeva.
