The Presentation of the National Guiding Framework of Standards and Technical Regulations for the Green Reconstruction of Ukraine took place at the initiative of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

At the event, the following were presented:

  • The Implementation Plan, developed jointly with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Standardization Agency (UAS). It is based on the work of both international and national experts. The work was carried out with the support of Switzerland through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
  • The National Guiding Framework of Standards and Technical Regulations for the Green Reconstruction of Ukraine. The goal is to outline a concept that will serve as the foundation for using standards and technical regulations to support Ukraine and its institutions in their efforts toward green reconstruction. The document consists of five sections:
    1. Context of green reconstruction of Ukraine.
    2. Guiding framework of standards and technical regulations.
    3. Catalog of European and international standards and technical regulations.
    4. Stakeholders from both the private and public sectors.
    5. Further steps for implementing the National Guiding Framework for the Green Reconstruction of Ukraine.

Representatives of the UNIDO UKR IEE project “Introduction of Energy Management System Standard in Ukrainian Industry” also participated in the event.
