The UNIDO/GEF UKR IEE Project: “Introduction of Energy Management System Standard in Ukrainian Industry” will support the 12th European-Ukrainian Energy Day “Climate Lockdown: Time to Act Until It Is Too Late” as a Platinum Partner.

The event will take place on June 10, 2021, in partnership with EU Green Week 2021.

European-Ukrainian Energy Day is the major annual showcase conference, bringing together key players from the Ukrainian, European, and international government sectors; local and international industry to present, analyze, and debate, renewable energy sectors, innovations and green hydrogen in Ukraine in the context of the Association Agreement with the EU, Paris Agreement and the EU Green Deal.

As part of the 12th European-Ukrainian Energy Day ” Climate Lockdown: Time to Act Until It Is Too Late “, 4 thematic sessions are planned:

1.Ukrainian reforms vs international policy to avoid climate lockdown and move towards carbon neutrality.

2.Financing lockdown of decarbonization projects: how not to lose its “window of opportunity” for Ukraine and mistakes that lead to the loss of investors and donors.

3.Innovations in renewable energy, technology development, prospects for green hydrogen.

4.Strategy for delaying or expanding renewable energy, or when the state begins to actively solving RES problems by the anniversary of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Ukraine and the RES sector.
