On August 23, a meeting was held between the UNIDO/GEF UKR IEE Project: “Introduction of Energy Management System Standard in Ukrainian Industry” and the “EU Training for Energy Auditors and Technical Designers (TEAD)” Project, which is financed by the European Commission.

The TEAD project started in July this year. One of the planned goals of the project is the development and implementation of a training program for energy auditors to ensure high-quality energy audits of residential and public buildings and industry.

During the meeting, the Team Leader Mr. Morten Søndergaard and Experts of the TEAD project presented the goal, components, implementation schedule, national partners and experts of the project. Representatives of the UNIDO/GEF UKR IEE Project also presented the Project’s activities and shared their experience and achievements.

The Project Coordinators discussed common issues of increasing energy efficiency in industry, in particular the issue of training for energy auditor experts, best practices for implementing energy efficiency projects, and agreed on further coordination and possible cooperation.
